How long will it take to receive my order?

Yes, we ship our specialized tools worldwide. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items and the destination country.

What is your return policy for hand tools?

We accept returns on unused tools in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that custom-sharpened tools or used items cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturer defect.

Are your chisels and slicks pre-sharpened?

While most of our high-quality Japanese and European tools come with a factory edge, we recommend a final honing to meet your specific woodworking requirements. We also offer professional sharpening services for select items.

Can I pick up my order in person at the Shelter Institute?

Absolutely. If you are in the Woolwich, Maine area, you can select 'Local Pickup' during checkout to collect your order directly from our campus store.
